The Euro Info Correspondence Centre (EICC) at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was created on October 10, 2005 against the Contract between DG «Enterprise and Industry» of the European Commission and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The EICC registered as UA326 is a member and an official information agent of the Euro Info Centres network. This is the first Centre in CIS member-states.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
EICC provides information and consulting support to the Ukrainian and foreign entrepreneurs, SMEs in trade and economic relations with business partners in EU countries, namely:
- The current economic policy of EU and Ukraine, economic institutions of European Market;
- Legislative and normative base regulating business activities in the EU and Ukrainian market;
- EU/Ukrainian standards and requirements to products and services;
- EU and Ukraine customs formalities and procedures, tariff policy;
- Quality, ecological requirements to production/services, requirements to marking and packaging of goods in EU and Ukraine;
- Information on EU and Ukrainian manufactures, exporters and importers;
- Search of potential partners in the EU countries and Ukraine;
- Distribution of Ukrainian and foreign business offers/inquiries;
- Marketing research, EU and Ukrainian markets analysis;
- Distribution of tender information, assistance in preparing tender documents;
- Assistance in organizing seminars and training programs on presenting business opportunities, national legislature, foreing economic activity, setting up enterprises in EU countries and Ukraine;
- Assistance in implementing consultancy programs for small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine and European Union;
- Consultations in procuring financial support programs through EU funds and projects.
